It’s Obama Time

Let’s start off now with some awesomeness shall we? I haven’t covered anything about Obama ever since the election. I did do a post about Obama and McCain’s speeches with video provided by by favorite video content site, Hulu. Obama has been frequently discussed ever since the election. There has been talk about his policy and his addiction to his Blackberry. Who wouldn’t rely heavily on a neat little gadget that makes life easier? He’s set a whole lot of precedents, such as taking an official White House photograph digitally. The photograph was taken with a Canon 5D Mark II. The quality is definitely awesome. Well, let’s take a look at Obama’s limo that he’ll be riding and Hulu’s collection of inaugeral addresses. That and more, after the Obama picture (click the picture for full size). Enjoy!

Alright, now that the whole Obama official portrait has been taken care of, let’s talk about his ride. It’s pretty cool and definitely sounds like something that just came out of a movie. But hey, after all he is the soon to be President. Here is a picture. All you need to know is right in that picture.

I mean really? It pretty much can take anything. OK, I know there are  probably ways to get around some of this stuff, but still it’s incredible what they can pack into one Cadillac. I guess some of the key points here includes it’s ability to withstand rocket attacks, even if it’s aimed directly for the gas tank. What more? The tires are kevlar re-inforced steel so that the car can keep going, pretty much no matter what’s in it’s path. The car body itself is made up of oh a whole bunch of metals that would stop any projectile and oh yea did I mention that the windows are thick enough to withstand armor piercing rounds? WHAT?!?!?! That is some pretty awesome caddy. By the way, it is perfectly sealed in case of a biological attack or gas agent was to be launched and there is a supply of Obama’s blood just in case. Way to cover all the bases.

Lastly, Hulu has a vast collection of inaugeral addresses pulled from the last century or so. It’s definitely worth checking out. By the way, this just in! It seems like Hulu will be covering the President’s Inauguration. There is a countdown already and I can’t wait for it. The Times Square New Year’s Parade live stream was excellent. I’d expect nothing less from a site like Hulu. You all know I love that site to death. Enjoy and I’m definitely waiting for that countdown to run out.
