Hulu Has Updates Too!

I just posted about YouTube and it’s updates, but Hulu also has cool updates. For those of you who don’t know, Hulu is another video site, where you can catch the latest episodes of those TV shows that you missed. I’ve fallen in love with the layout, content, and user-friendliness of Hulu. Sure, you have to watch a couple of ads, but it’s well worth it. The content at Hulu is provided by the networks themselves. The videos are crystal-clear and it’s really easy to follow up on your favorite shows. I never would have watched shows like S.W.A.T or The Pretender. Ever since I’ve been surfing Hulu, there has not been a time when I couldn’t find something worth watching. Hulu is an excellent video site. They launched the “hulu for Holidays” campaign with a widget to accompany it. A neat feature that hulu recently implemented is actor searching. Simply put, when you search for an actor, the results page will display the actor in a thumbnail in the movie or clip that they were in. It’s a neat feature demanded by hulu viewers and now we have it! The QuickView feature has also been very useful. When you mouse over a thumbnail of a video or clip, you are presented with some text in a popup balloon with the title, season and episode number, length of the clip or video, air date, average user rating, and even a brief summary of the episode.
