More Changes to the Good ‘ol YouTube
I went on YouTube last night and lordy lordy everything was…well I guess you could put it: BIG! The videos are now being played in widescreen 16:9. That’s a big improvement from the original 4:3. I tried watching more videos this morning and it seems like everything is in widescreen for some odd reason. That’s pretty cool huh? However, some of the videos that were uploaded onto YouTube did not have a 16:9 version so you have sidebars of black on both sides. Who cares? Another hack also lets you watch YouTube videos in HD. By adding “&fmt=22″ to the end of the URL of a YouTube video, you can watch the video in HD. This hack doesn’t work for all videos, just like the widescreen isn’t for all videos.
