California Academy of Sciences REOPENED!!!

Awesome! I put this date into my calendar so that I wouldn’t forget it. I’ve been looking forward to this all summer, but I won’t be headed over to see it myself, sadly enough. So, what have I been babbling on and on about? Of course, it’s the California Academy of Sciences reopening. It must have been a couple of years ago when they took everything out and moved it to Downtown San Francisco, from it’s illustrious home in Golden Gate Park. Now that it’s all open again, I really want to see it. From treehuggers, I’ve heard that it packs quite the punch. With it’s new design and spectacular message, this place is a must see. It had just opened, so when you get a chance, definitely go and check it out. There is a two plus acre green roof on it, housing the history museum, planetorium, and the rainforest. I remember back in the day when I first visited the Academy of Sciences. It was quite the experience, but now with it’s green design and with my newfound knowledge and appreciation of the world around me, I think the next time I visit the Academy, it’ll be spectacular. The whole building is green and I want to see these features myself. It has photo-voltaic panels, which can generate electricity for the museum and it also houses a ton of plants. This I have to see. So when you have some time on your hands, go check out the California Academy of Sciences.
