iTunes 7.7 is Now Available! iPhone 3G Soon To Come!

It has come to my attention that iTunes 7.7 is out now! It is now available as a software download from the Apple website. What’s new from the previous version of iTunes? For one, the stuff about a iTunes remote floating around is TRUE. It is a rumor no more. It has been confirmed that the new remote application allows users to control iTunes playback from anywhere in your home or office using your iPhone or iPod Touch. It’s a pretty neat feature and I look forward to being able to test it. What else is new? The new iTunes also includes the newly released apps store which allows applications to be downloaded for the iPhone and the Touch with software version 2.0. Aha! Since we’re still on the same topic of apple-ness, I might as well also point out that the iPhone 3G is coming to the states in only a matter of hours. Am I going to get one? Eventually. Definitely not tomorrow, but eventually I’ll get one and test out this app store. For now I’ll just sit back and enjoy the new iTunes and have a look around.
