New Features: WPBOOK is…AWESOME!

Who doesn’t have a Facebook nowadays? I know I do and you probably do too. It’s been a while now, but ever since Facebook allowed RSS feed integration, I’ve been importing all my net activities onto my wall, using it like a Lifestream application. Since then, I’ve created my own Journal with a better and more in depth Lifestream. You can check that out here. Anyway, I’ve always been trying to find something that’ll let me integrate Wordpress and Facebook seamlessly, allowing comments to show up on either site. I think I’ve finally found it! WPBOOK is a Wordpress plugin that works with Facebook applications to create that integration. I don’t know the technical aspects of the plugin (it’s too complicated for me to understand). However, I can tell you that it works beautifully for my blog. If you have a Wordpress blog that you want to integrate with Facebook, you’ve finally caught your lucky break. Go ahead. If you need some convincing, have a look at my post here and my application. I haven’t actually tested the comment integration yet, but the content integration is perfect for my needs.

By the looks of it, all the comments on the posts from Wordpress are transferred over to Facebook. I just need to try it from Facebook and see if they show up on Wordpress. I’m thinking that it will. I also think that you should check out WPBOOK. It’s simple to set up. All you need is a Wordpress blog that you have administrative access to and a Facebook account. //EDIT: Well, I’m not having any luck with the whole comment integration thing, but that doesn’t mean it won’t work with your Wordpress site. I think one of my million plugins may be interfering with WPBOOK. Cheers all and let me know if it works for you.
