PSD Tutorials

I’ve done a couple of posts with resources for awesome icons and vector graphics, but here is something that I haven’t given you yet. How about PSD tutorials for creating highly detailed icon designs and also just some PSDs for learning purposes. I haven’t gone through a lot of tutorial sites yet, but here are two that’ll point you toward the right direction.

1) Blog.Spoongraphics: Headed by Chris Spooner, this is the place to go if you want to learn through Illustrator and Photoshop tutorials. They’re excellent! You should definitely check out this post, a compiled list of 40 tutorials for creating icons. You’ll learn a lot from them, guaranteed. If you like what you see, then you should also check out Line25.

2) PSHero: I don’t remember how or when I stumbled upon PSHero, but this is also a winner. Looking for ideas, concepts, and awesome tutorials? Look no further. Take a look at the multitude of tutorials and you’ll probably find one you like. It’s so easy to learn from these tutorials. If you need inspiration or help with textures, gradients, or whatnot, you’ll find your answer on the site. All you have to do is go take a look at all the tutorials!
